Dementia. Redefined.
Bridging the gap between leadership and frontline care to build dementia informed systems that families trust

The Issue

Over 7.2 million Americans over 65 live with Alzheimer’s dementia, and their needs shift constantly as the disease progresses. With over 10 years' experience in Dementia care, we recognize that healthcare and care communities work hard to keep up, but leaders and frontline caregivers are often left without the ongoing support they need to adapt.

Dementia‑related caregiving demands are tied to billions in absenteeism losses nationally and turnover rates near or above 80–100 percent for the very staff who support residents with dementia

That’s where The Mindful Approach comes in; building systems that sustain caregivers, equip Administrators and protect your organization by positioning you to change the way you view and respond to dementia, saving you lost revenue and delivering what families need.

Imagine This Fixed

Picture your assisted living, memory care, home care agency, or respite team where staff members at all levels handle challenging behaviors, safety scares, and daily ups and downs with total confidence. No more "1 out of 3 employees getting it right." Everyone's on the same page, feeling supported, and delivering care families feel confident about.

Elevating Care Standards

State rules like Title 22 cover the minimum requirements for dementia care such as hydration, knowledge about behaviors and Activities of daily living, but if were being honest, families expect to see real hands-on expertise.

The Mindful Approach will dive into your daily operations, spot the gaps, and build a custom plan that works. We're with you every step of the way, training new hires and course correcting as needs evolve.

Employer Benefits

Stellar teams: Less stress, less burnout and less workers comp related claims mean higher retention rates and lower liability; saving your company financial strain.

Standout status: Your organization will be positioned as a leader in competent, high quality dementia care; reaching beyond state minimum requirements to address authentic needs. If you are a leader in any form of healthcare community or have employees who take care of someone at home living with dementia; this is perfect for you.

Satisfied families:  Increased loyalty, better reviews, and increased likelihood for referrals.

The work Modupe is doing has been so beneficial for our family!  The caregivers who work with my mom can verbalize how and why they are addressing my mom's needs the way they do. She helped me understand how to work through the challenging behaviors that usually start at sundown and it made a huge difference. My mom seems happier now that the caregivers and I understand her disease better, and I feel better knowing my mom is in capable hands when I am not around. Thank you.
